Trish for RRGC
Financial Secretary
Make Membership Matter
What Trish will accomplish if elected as Financial Secretary!
As Financial Secretary, Trish plans to focus on three major projects:
Major Project #1
Create a member
rewards program
Major Project #2
Enhance membership experience
Major Project #3
Provide members resources
These three projects dovetail into positioning RRGC to be recognized as the inclusive pro-2A organization where everyone can become proficient with firearms and learn about shooting & fishing through RRGC's variety of communities.
Create a member rewards program
Members should be rewarded for regularly renting lanes and bringing friends to the bar/point. You are the heart of our club! Given the revenue you're contributing or generating for the club, the club should give back to you.
If elected, Trish plans to incentivize your membership by working with the incoming Board of Directors and the General Manager to create a member rewards program.
This rewards program could include:
Senior discounts
More junior programs
Buy-three-get-one-free lane rental program
Purchasing prepaid range cards for friends and family at a member rate
Referral rewards
If a family or friend name you as their referral for associate membership, or club sponsor on their conversion application, you get a credit towards your annual dues.
Potentially waive next year's renewal fee!
Enhance membership experience
Members should benefit from the tech community. We have the funds and the resources to fully move out of the 1980s and into the current century. The club should make it easier for you to get to why you came here: fun & safe recreation.
If elected, Trish plans to digitize the release of liability waivers, making it faster for you to check-in and not have to sign a physical paper with each visit.
With the large influx of new members, club-wide membership management software will allow us to:
streamline check-ins
properly log visits and visitors
decrease liability for the club
ultimately get you shooting & fishing faster!
RRGC can also begin to understand trends in foot traffic throughout the year. This allows RRGC to find ways to provide a better experience for our members, their guests, and the larger community (thereby keeping you safer).
Provide members resources
The needs of 3000+ members should not rest in the hands of 15 individuals. The Board of Directors, its officers, and the club chairmen should be regularly involving you and answering to you.
If elected, Trish plans to create opportunities for you as a member to get more involved in the club and within the fishing/shooting community.
Knowing what resources and opportunities are available (and when) is half the battle. Initially, Trish intends to:
start polling and surveying the membership on a regular basis
What is important to you as a member?
What projects do you want to see the club work on?
What activities are you interested in seeing the club offer?
low-to-no-cost senior activities?
new shooter or family programs?
create a series of articles in the bulletin that focus on educating new and incoming regular members on...
elections,
operations,
how to be more involved within the club
especially in order to take advantage of Major Project #1
These survey results and articles will eventually be archived online for all RRGC members, creating a historical database that the membership can reference easily.
Here are two quick examples of content that would be featured in an article (click on the blue links):
By working with Mike Norris (Fishing Point Chair), Jodine Bautista (Kitchen & Bar Chair), and the other range chairs, Trish can also help with organizing workshops such as "How to clean and cook your latest catch" or "The Range Officer's Path: How to get from the static line to running and gunning." Additional ideas include branching out to our local community and giving opportunities for them to see and experience the resources and knowledge our club has to offer.
