What did Trish have to do with the membership cards?
Original Card Design
The original card design was created by Alex Jason around 2011 after Bob Wills (former Financial Secretary) had passed.
The cards were printed on laminated paper & made it easier to issue cards, but did not bear a photo of the member, faded over time, & had to be reissued as needed. Though clear adhesive was applied to later designs, a more permanent solution was welcomed.
Current Card Design
Thanks design help of Mark Taylor and printer/database integration by Trish Sargentini, the current membership cards took elements from the original design to easily differentiate member types.
New cards include a color photo of the member on the front of the card and could be activated & deactivated easily. The BOD approved the design and use of the associate/regular cards in Fall 2021.
